CastMe
CastMe is a daily entertainment puzzle platform built around cast recognition, actor connections, and shared daily challenges. Pick a puzzle to play today:
- CastMe Movies — guess the film from its cast, one revealed actor at a time.
- CastMe TV Shows — the same mechanic, guessing television series.
- CastMe Connections — group 16 actors into 4 sets of 4 by a shared movie or show.
- CastMe Six Degrees — connect two actors through a chain of shared films.
- CastMe Higher/Lower — choose which movie is rated higher and build a streak.
How daily puzzles work
Each mode gives players the same daily challenge so results are comparable. Older puzzles move into the archive, with recent puzzles available free and deeper archive access included with CastMe Premium.
How CastMe creates games
CastMe uses entertainment metadata as source material, then adds original puzzle selection, validation, scoring, archive organization, and player-facing stats. Public page content stays spoiler-safe so it does not reveal answers or solve-helpful clues before play.
About Movie Mode
Movie Mode asks you to identify a hidden film from its progressively revealed cast. The page keeps the daily challenge intact: the supporting notes explain the format without exposing cast names, genres, years, posters, or the answer.
How daily Movie puzzles work
Everyone receives the same daily movie puzzle. Each miss reveals more of the cast inside the game board, and completed daily puzzles later become part of the archive according to the current free and Premium access rules.
How CastMe creates Movie puzzles
CastMe checks each movie puzzle for a fair reveal curve, answer validation, duplicate prevention, and playable difficulty. Hard Mode is a Premium variant for Movie puzzles only, with fewer guesses.
Trust and maintenance
Movie pages are generated from the live puzzle schedule, reviewed for spoiler safety, and linked to About, Devlog, Terms, and Privacy pages so direct visitors can understand the site.
About TV Shows Mode
TV Shows Mode uses the same cast-recognition idea as Movies, but the puzzle is tuned for television casts, recurring roles, and ensemble series. Supporting content stays spoiler-safe and does not reveal the show or cast lineup.
How daily TV puzzles work
Every player gets the same daily TV challenge. A missed guess reveals more cast information inside the board, while this page explains the format and archive without giving faster solve clues.
How CastMe creates TV puzzles
TV puzzles are reviewed separately from Movies because show casts behave differently across seasons and guest appearances. CastMe keeps TV as its own archive and daily mode rather than treating it as a reskin.
Trust and maintenance
TV pages are maintained separately because television casts, seasons, and guest roles behave differently from films. Metadata issues can be reported from the About page.
How Connections works
Connections is a daily grouping puzzle. You sort performers into four sets based on a shared screen credit, but this section never exposes today's actors, categories, answers, tiers, or grouping clues.
How daily Connections puzzles work
Each board contains 16 performers and four correct groups. Players can make a limited number of mistakes, and solved groups reveal inside the game only after a correct submission.
How CastMe creates Connections
CastMe checks that each board has a real shared-credit structure, a manageable difficulty spread, and no mixed answer mode within the same puzzle. Some days are movie boards and some are TV boards.
Trust and maintenance
Connections pages are intentionally conservative: one leaked actor or category can spoil a board, so public copy documents rules while keeping board-specific detail post-completion.
About Six Degrees
Six Degrees asks you to connect the starting performer to the target performer through shared films. The endpoints are the prompt; routes, bridge films, hub performers, and bot analysis stay hidden until after completion.
How daily Six Degrees puzzles work
Name a film for the current performer, pick a real costar from that film, and repeat until you reach the target. Six Degrees includes hints for players who get stuck, and hint usage is reflected in scoring.
How CastMe verifies routes
CastMe validates film-credit links, compares player routes against known shortest and readable routes, and scores completed paths for efficiency and obscurity after the solve.
Trust and maintenance
Six Degrees exposes only the public endpoints before play. Route validation, scoring, and bot analysis are based on credited film links and remain completion-stage material.
How Higher/Lower works
Higher/Lower is a quick ratings challenge: choose which movie is rated higher and keep the run alive. There are no clue reveals in this mode.
How the daily duel works
The board presents two options and asks for a comparison. Your score is the streak you build by choosing correctly, with a leaderboard for players who want to compare runs.
How CastMe keeps it simple
The mode is intentionally lightweight: one decision at a time, clear feedback, and no hidden answer assistance. Ratings are sourced from TMDB, while CastMe provides the game structure, daily presentation, streak tracking, and leaderboard experience.
Why these pages exist
CastMe is maintained as a daily game first, but direct visitors should still be able to understand the platform without opening a modal or finishing a puzzle. These public notes explain the rules, archive, Premium access, and methodology while keeping answers inside the game.
Maintenance and contact
The site is independently built and updated. If a puzzle has a metadata issue, broken image, or confusing credit, reports can be sent through the contact information on the About page.
